Step 1

donor trike.jpg (71810 bytes)This is what the donor Trike looked like when I took it home (after a bath... the trike, not me.) As I said before, there is nothing seriously wrong with it, just badly neglected and in need of some serious TLC.

Note the small rear wheels which look a bit lost in the big mudguards.

Step 2

The fibreglass parts are off and now we can see what needs to be done.

On the top of the tank you can see Petrol marks from leaking Petrol mixing with dust and grime. Sure sign this tank needs to come out and get fixed.

In the picture you can see how the original tank only had a bracket on the bottom right hand side of the torsion bar. When the tank goes back it will have a bracket on either side and never crack again. 

And if it does we just blame Ollie.
