Teardrop Camper Trailers Hit the Road
They are here!! Two teardrop campers hit the road for their virgin run at the 2003 Tinny Rally this weekend just gone. We were inundated with onlookers and people keen to see how the teardrops worked.
First impressions were great, with people commenting on the professional finish of each of the two trailers. One is finished in polished aluminium, the other in white fibre-glass sheeting. Both feature pop-up hatches, radios, kitchenette, lockable doors and heaps more. With temperatures in nearby Kingaroy heating a low -6°C for the night, it was nice to be inside the toasty warm campers, well off the cold ground. Another great feature for those going to rallies, the teardrops are amazingly sound proof, blocking out the sounds of ongoing partying when it came time for sleeping.
Aussie Teardrop Campers is the new venture that we have started. Reiner has over 15 years experience in building and repairing caravans and has now brought the tiny tag-along's to Australia.
