Bon Trike Closes Doors
By now most of you will be aware that Karsten in Sydney has pulled out of the trike industry. He started Bon Trikes 7 years ago, and decided it was time to move on. This has left a lot of uncertainty and rumours flying around the trike and motorbike circuit faster than a Yamaha R1.
Since I have worked with Karsten from when he first open doors in 1995 and I am still very much in the industry, let's clear up some of those rumours.
My trike was still under Warranty, what happens now??
For those of you that are still under warranty with Bon Trike, DON'T PANIC. We have not taken over the Bon Trike business but have sorted out the few warranty problems that we have heard about with the German suppliers, Rewaco. We will do our best to look after Bon Trike's warranty.
Why did we do this if we didn't take over Bon Trike? We are trike owners ourselves, a lot of our friends are on trikes and I have been on a bike for 35 years. We don't want anyone to feel like they have been left in the lurch. Bikers are a community that looks after their own, and we thought it was important.
How do I get parts?
As with trikes under warranty, some people have been getting worried that they can't buy parts for their Bon Trikes. There is no reason to worry. What parts we don't have here already, we can get. If you are in strife and need a part, contact us.
We will have a full supply of parts for Bon Trikes including upgraded bodies and bolt-ons in the not too distant future.
