| Bon Trike - Heavy Duty Trike Trailer |
This Trailer was built back in '96 when we
started Bon Trikes. Karsten had it designed like a German Tank (ok, maybe
not quite, but it is definitely heavy duty and made to travel long
distance). It cost Karsten back then just under $6,000 to get it built the
way he wanted it.
- Weight distribution is spot on - the trike wheels are
in the middle of the two trailer wheels and not much weight up front.
- The ramps slide away under the trike and are locked
secure in place.
- The Trailer has hydraulic over-ride brakes on the
front axle.
- Trailer and Trike would weight around the 1000kg ,
which would be a bit on the heavy side for most passenger cars. My
Landcruiser tows the rig with ease, or a small truck would be well
suited to do the job.
- Comes with stainless steel tie-downs, two toolboxes
and spare wheel.
- Includes roadworthy and 12 month rego.

Very easy to put up (self-erecting) and only
